Entropion

Entropion is the turning inward of the upper or lower eyelid and lashes. Problems arise when the lashes rub against the cornea, the clear and sensitive "window of vision" that covers the pupil and iris. Repair involves surgically turning the eyelid out, returning the eyelashes to their normal position.
