A YOUNGER LOOKING YOU:
NEW FRACTIONAL SKIN REJUVENATION
Whether you're in your 30s or your 60s, now you have a new weapon in the struggle against aging. Fractional skin resurfacing is the latest and one of the most effective non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatments available today. At Eye Centers of Florida and The Aesthetic Center at Eye Centers of Florida we are pleased to offer the exciting state-of-the-art Fractional Skin Rejuvenation System. If you live with sun-damaged skin, facial veins or acne scars, you may be surprised to find out that these conditions can all be treated with this new light-based technology.
With the Fractional Skin Rejuvenation System we can provide our patients with an effective non-invasive treatment with long lasting results, a quick recovery, and a lack of side effects.
Fractional Skin Rejuvenation System treatments can be applied to most areas of the body, including, the face and neck, the chest, arms and hands. The Fractional Skin Rejuvenation System delivers light in an array of narrow, focused “microbeams” to create columns of coagulation (heat) within the skin. The heated tissue within the columns initiates a natural healing process that forms new, healthy tissue. The end result is a fresher, more youthful skin tone and texture.
Other devices use the non-ablative (non-surgical) method: sending light pulses into the dermis, while leaving the epidermis intact. This allows quick recovery, but when the light pulses don’t penetrate far into the dermis, the change in skin tone and texture is less effective. Fractional Skin Rejuvenation can offer both superior results and a short period of downtime.
“Most patients describe the light pulses as a ‘snapping’ sensation, which causes mild discomfort at most. After the treatment, there may be some redness for a few days, but that quickly fades and the patient can enjoy the effects of smoother, clearer skin, with improved tone and texture in a few weeks, but true results are seen in several months.”
Because the light pulses are confined to narrow columns in the skin, much of the skin is left unaffected the healing process is much quicker. Most people notice positive changes in skin tone and texture within a few days.
