"Well over a half century ago an injury caused the loss of practically all my sight in my left eye. The iris was torn and stretched across the eye's pupil, blocking and distorting vision. The alternatives open at the time were either a glass eye or retain the disfigured eye. I opted for the latter.

On May 25, (2006), Dr. David Brown, founder of the Eye Centers of Florida, spent more than an hour on the surgical repair of my left eye, which had been virtually sightless for all those years.

I saw my love, my wife, for the first time with my left eye, making her twice as pretty!

Last year I needed an ophthalmologist quickly!! I made an appointment with a well-known doctor in North Naples. He had been my wife's doctor for 8 years. He diagnosed me with herpes shingles of the left eye, had no more time for me and advised his assistant to answer any of my many questions. With that, I quickly went looking for another doctor and thankfully found Dr. Ronald Olson at your Davis Avenue facility in Naples. He is not concerned that I am on Medicare. He gives of his time and vast medical knowledge. He answers all of my questions patiently. To be honest, I was frightened; afraid I'd never heal. Later, Dr. Barrett Ginsberg was called into review my situation and there again a very knowledgeable doctor. I've seen both doctors so often that they've become friends. Now I recommend both doctors to everyone I know and even ones I don't know !!! I hope you, Dr. Brown, realize what a precious asset you have in these two doctors !!
