How does Latisse work?
Latisse is believed to affect the growth phase of the eyelash hair cycle in two ways: first it increases the length of this phase’ and second it increases the number of hairs in this growth phase.

How soon will I see results?
The effect is gradual but in the clinical trial, the majority of Latisse users saw a significant improvement by 2 months.

How is Latisse different?
Only Latisse has been approved by the FDA as a prescription treatment used to grow eyelashes. It also has been studied in a clinical trial to demonstrate its safety and effectiveness.

Can anyone use Latisse?
Ask your doctor is Latisse is right for you. If you have been previously diagnosed with eye pressure problems, are currently taking medication for eye pressure or have other risk factors for glaucoma, you need to seek the advice of your eye care specialist.

What are the possible side effects?
The most common side effects after using Latisse are eye redness or itching. These were reported in about 4% of users in the clinical trial. Less common side effects include skin darkening, eye irritation, dryness or redness of the eyelids. If you should experience any problems, see your eye care specialist for care.

How do I use Latisse?
Once nightly, after make-up, mascara and contact lenses are removed, apply the sterile applicator with one drop of Latisse solution across the eyelid close to the lashes. Blot any excess and throw away the applicator. Eye Centers of Florida specialists will teach you this process so that you can be assured of proper application.
