FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Florida Everblades ice hockey team has chosen Eye Centers of Florida to be the official eye care provider for its athletes and staff. Eye Centers will be on call to provide vision screenings, corrective lenses, treatments for injury, and eye surgeries.
“We’re proud to serve these players who do so much for our Southwest Florida community,” said Dr. David C. Brown, founder of Eye Centers. “Excellent vision is important for top athletic performance, so we’re honored to use our expertise to help the team. And since many eye injuries happen during sporting activities, we’ll also be using this opportunity to raise awareness about eye safety, especially with children and parents.”
