Eye Centers of Florida Celebrates Caregivers During “Stop and Smell the Roses” Event
Not all heroes wear capes. Some of these heroes are caregivers.
The team at Eye Centers of Florida recognizes that being a caretaker requires an immense amount of time, dedication, and selflessness. We also know that, while caregivers seem unstoppable, even heroes need a break.
Sometimes, caregivers need to focus on themselves and stop and smell the roses. That’s why Eye Centers of Florida is an active sponsor of the annual “Day Out for Caregivers”.
This year, a few members of the Eye Centers of Florida team celebrated with caregivers in attendance at the 16th annual “Stop and Smell the Roses” at the First Church of the Nazarene on November 8th. This year’s theme was “Decades of Fun: 50s, 60s, 70s, & 80s.”
Organized by Right at Home Southwest Florida, the event was a chance for caregivers to enjoy a free lunch, enter for the chance to win great door prizes, and take a moment to relax.
We also want to congratulate Anne Byron, who was named Caregiver of the Year for her tireless dedication to a beloved family member!
Caregivers are compassionate, selfless, and essential to many in our community. At Eye Centers of Florida, we’re remarkably proud to support caregivers and celebrate their dedication and hard work. Great job to event organizer Right at Home Southwest Florida!
