Over the last two years, through the pandemic, through the toughest hospital conditions during my lifetime, Dr. Michael Tsipursky and his staff found a way(s) to navigate a frankly hostile hospital administrative environment to provide the care I needed and perform the surgeries required, to save my sight. First it was the left eye, retinal detachment. The repair didn't take, so over the course of the following two years there were nearly half a dozen surgeries/procedures. I was never made to wait (other than for unfortunate hospital delays under the pretense that COVID patients were filling all available beds, for OUTPATIENT procedures) for time sensitive procedures/surgeries. During this period my right eye also experienced a retinal detachment and Dr. Tsipursky immediately performed the necessary procedures to save my sight with great results. I wish there were words to adequately portray Dr. Tsipursky's skill, desire, and compassion over the last two years. Thank you Dr. T.
